What has happened to Jeff Gordon's good luck?

It seems Jeff has lost his lucky horseshoe. Years ago he won week after week, sometimes getting a late caution to put him near the front or he would win on gas mileage. This year he could easily have 5 wins, yet he is winless. His good luck in the past is bad luck this year. He is 2nd in the points, but has 0 wins and will drop because Harvick, Hamlin, Johnson, Biffle, Kyle Busch, and Kurt Busch all have wins.
