Has anyone used coconut oil on their scalp to get hair to grow faster?

I have been reading about scalp mage to get hair to grow faster because it stimulates the hair follicles. Anyone ever use rosemary essentila oil to grow hair, supposed to get the circulation goingon the scalp.
