Why do people trust biased media outlets?
Do you honestly believe that AM is more biased than NBC, CBS, or ABC? They might have nicer personalities and quieter quest but they are not honest about their views and the fact that they actively support larger government. John Stossle is the only reporter on those networks that I have seen actively questioning bigger government. You and I have choices as to what we can listen to and watch. Somewhere between NPR and FOX you might get some thing like a balanced show. But FOX For all its right leanings will and does allow the other side on the air for debate real debate on issues not the five people panels where every one says President Obama inherited the problems. He was a Senator he knew what the problems were and he still ran for president. He asked for the job He asked to be the person responsible so he is now responsible. Did you know the house ped a bill on cap and trade last Friday? Do you know how it will effect your energy bills. To be honest no one knows why its 900 pages and 300 pages were change at 2am the morning before the vote yet it still ped. Did you here about that in depth on ABC, CBS, or NBC or did you get Michal Jackson's life story. Do you know how many states are investigating ACORN for election fraud? The number that is being used to tell us all how many uninsured their are in America includes people who are eligible for coverage by the government and employers but chose not to sign up, individuals who were temporally without insurance even though they have it now, the estimated number of undoented workers, and their families. In short the number of uninsured workers is inflated have you heard that on ABC,CBS, or NBC? The fact is good or bad AM radio will spend hours on one specific topic no place else is one issue hammered on. If democrats want to compete they can but so far they have failed remember Air America? The real problem it that they do not want information to get to the American people. Did we get to see the stimulus bill out of committee before it was ped? Did anybody actually read it? NO it gave the AIG people their bonuses. Right now you are right the nasty little details of government waist and corruption appear to only be available on AM radio and FOX and Lu Dobbs on CNN. If and when CBS, NBC, and ABC wish to report factually about the laws and bills that are going through congress instead of just summary statements about what they are intended to do without explaining how they plan to do it or pay for it i will start watching them more regularly as I once did. You get more raw data from AM, FOX and Lu Dobbs than other sources. Yes you have to listen to a lot of ranting lunatics but you get data that the other guys are just not talking about. Information that I have a right to know and your plan of equal time will reduce the raw information that is available. Once again if ABC,CBS, and NBC want to do it I would be the first one to applaud.
