Would you join a personals site....?

Just to say hello to a friend you recognized. This would be a friend you didn't date in the past, don't want to date but knew each other in a social sense about 15 years ago. I am committed to someone in a new relationship but this is only one of 20 friends I've come across in the 12 years I have lived out of the area. What should I do?
