Shaving to p a body hair follicle test?

Shaving one's body hair and then re growing it to p a body hair follicle drug test which dates back 12 months... if around the fourth month this person shaved all his body hair and re grew it for the next 6 months would this person p a body hair follicle test.? By the way yes this person knows they made a very stupid mistake but has not use drugs sence that point... will have been clean 9 months by the time he will have to submit to the test... there is approximately 5 more months before he will have to submit to the test... my friend is worried he will have trace amounts show up in his hair follicle test because he is about 3 months shy. Just to reiterate... can this person p this test by shaving and then re growing...? If there are any experts on the subject or persons with first hand knowledge.... an accurate answer to this question will determine whether this person has any chance in hell for redemption.
