New Mom's-- Need experienced answer on new cloth diapers??

My sister in law is thinking about using the cloth diapers, she said something about it has come back and is suppose to save you tons of $$. You pay a 1st time installment and they ship you your cloth diapers and the other things to go with the package. My question is has anyone used these and is it really a money saver? Did you have probs with it? Need some experienced answers. Thanks in advance.
