Does this guy like me?

OK, so I saw this guy where I get dropped off from school. I'm in 7th grade right now and we were close friends in 5th grade, but we lost touch after that. But I talked to his stepsister and she said he talked about me all the time, and I realized I liked him over the summer after 6th grade. And then I talked to one of my friends who oes to the same school with him and then she said that he never had any girlfriends after I left (he never really did.). I also told her that I liked him and she said she'll tell him in school, and I told her to give my email address and she said OK (she's really dependable, and she's not single.) I saw him today and when I tugged on his sleeve and called his name he just smiled and called me back (by my full name) and just walked away. Does this guy like me or not? I'm so confused!
